पूरी तरहसे पुराने कपडों के टुकडों से जन्मा ये चित्र....पार्श्व भूमी मे बोरी का टुकडा है...

कल्पना के रंग और तरंग !

कुछ water colour , कुछ, सिल्क के तुकडे, कुछ धागे....



इन्हीं टुकडों से सजे ये भित्ती चित्र......सूरज के ऊपर जो धुंद का एहसास है, वो उसपे सिले शिफोन के तुकडेके कारण...और ये टुकडा था मेरी परदादीके दुपट्टेमेसे बच्चा हुआ......!चान्दीके तारभी हाथकी बनी एक लेस मेसे निकल आए हैं....चित्रमे दाहिने हाथके कोनेमे....(नीचेकी और)।


आसमान तथा कढाई की पार्श्व भूमी मैंने water कलर से पेंट कर ली थी।
The lavender fields & the rose twilight (round frame) have been kidnapped by my daughter & taken away to Richmond, VA. She says she'll be entering them in an exhibition at the Ginter Botanical gardens next year.
The sunflower field, house (with pond & garden) & forest remain with me. I might lose them to her next year, perhaps.
I use a lot of french knots like you can see...

ये सब चीज़ें, कढाई, पेंट , आप्लीक आदि सबका इस्तेमाल करके बनी हैं....डिजाइंस कहींसे कॉपी नही की गयीं....कप सोसर की कढाई ट्रे कवर के लिए है....

लाल, नीले पत्ते जिसमे अप्प्लीक किए गए हैं वो ज़मीनपे बैठनेके लिए बने ताकियेका कवर है.....जिसमे पेंट, और कढाई, दोनोका इस्तेमाल है....

वाटर स्केप :इस चित्र के लिए सर्वप्रथम मैंने background का कपडा पेंट कर लिया। उसीपे अलग, अलग टांकों का इस्तेमाल करके चित्र पूरा किया.

फायबर आर्ट

These are some of the images of my work that I have been doing over a period of time. There are images of landscaping, bonsai, furniture designing (though just a couple of those) & my drawing room (not recent) apart from intricately pieced patchwork & wall pieces using many techniques. The wall pieces have many textural variations achieved through the use of combed silk cords(for the waterfall) or a statue made of plaster of Paris, or even yarns & slivers .Quite a few of these embroideries have painted backgrounds, using water colour on silk, of hand woven silks used to create certain effects. A closer, enlarged view will give a better idea of the varied techniques (inclusive of raw edges of silk pieces or saree or shawl tassles used for grasses etc. There is starched silk used for leaves & there is water soluble fabric used, first, to embroider upon & then dissolve to get a 3D effect by attaching those in the form of flowers etc.
